| Sensational stuff. Not a massive fan of the man but can't knock him as a tennis player. Good luck in the final! |

| R5 this morning referred to the Big Three- and said that Murray will make it the Big Four and may well win at Flushing Meadow! Is it me or is he better on clay than grass? |

| What a match, I really rate this guy cos he's a born winner and not Mr Nicey Tim Loser. Think he'll get stuffed by Fed though, still good to see him improving. Anyone else think that Nadal looks like 'monkey boy' ? |

| Poor old Andy Murray- British when he wins and Scots when he loses. He has a ruthless streak that Tim Nice didn't: it makes you a winner- but in the strange culture in which we live, it makes you disliked by the tabloid Press. And why? Well, they know their readers- 606 last night had to be disabled as the messages began in favour of Nadal, moved to Federer and then got personal...sad sad people. |

WBB the US Open is on a hard court not clay, clay is the French Open. Not sure if he likes playing on Clay, so far his results are better on Grass than Clay, but he has something that no other British Tennis player has got, and that is that he was brought up at a Tennis Academy in Barcelona, so he did most of his training in his earlier years on Clay, which is why he has got a good all round tennis game. I think he'll give Federer a very good match tonight, who wins is anyones guess. Could be a very late night!!!!! |

| Yep, well I have a 4 pack of Red Bull in just in case. And you're right, compare Murray to Middle class home counties boy Henman and there's no comparison. Also of course Murray narrowly escaped being murdered by Thomas Hamilton in Dunblane, this could also have something to do with his winners attitude, you never know. I am going for a Murray win tonight, I don't think he's a choker in the Henman mould, and Fed is definitely on the downward spiral and Andy is on the up. Too many commercial endorsements eating up your time Roger, Mr Murray take heed- If Gillette come calling tell them where to go |

| What an achievement by Murray! The way he's going he's catching up with Djokovic, and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes number 3 in the world in the near future. The final should be a great match - I'm a Federer supporter first and foremost, but if Murray did win it would be an amazing result. |

| Well, even if he loses the final wouldn't that in itself put him around number 3? I'm not sure where he stands now, is it no 6? Still, whatever way you slice it, he's doing well and is definitely British and not Scottish |

lady_luck is right, he will move upto number 4 in the world win or lose tonight. He is still along way behind the other 3, Nadal is way out in front. The top 6 in the world will look like this if Murray wins... 1) Nadal 7000 2) Federer 5630 3) Djorkovic 4855 4) Murray 3340 5) Ferrer 2490 6) Davydenko 2400 If Fed wins.... 1) Nadal 7000 2) Federer 5930 3) Djorkovic 4855 4) Murray 3040 5) Ferrer 2490 6) Davydenko 2400 So either way he has taken a huge step upwards into the top 4, but is still along way behind Novak in 3rd. This run has also cemented Murray's place in the season ending masters cup for the 1st time. |
