Damn, the Scotsman Murray is losing quite badly here Still, was a good run while it lasted, and he can only get better

You can never rely on a Scotsman to win, glorious failure. Bring back little Timmy Ok, he was serioisly outplayed but his comments at the end were very positive.

Yep, no-one could have beaten Fed last night, he was seriously good. Andy also looked half knackered. Still, I don't like to be negative, so its onwards and upwards

And indeed won the final Well done to the young man from Dunblane, he really does look a world class player now. Also, he's only 21 so has a good few years before he peaks, which by that time I feel it will certainly be between him and Nadal fighting over that no 1 spot

I have to say I never really rated him but over the last year he's become a really good player. If he carries on like he is at the moment he's got great chance of winning a slam next year - the Australian Open maybe.

I agree- but with grass his least favoured surface, I don't think it will ever be Wimbledon.

Yep I think that hard courts are his best bet. He might get to the final of the French Open but I can't see him beating Nadal on clay.

As I write Murray needs one more game for yet another title, although this is a low ranking tourny. Still impressive though.

Andy into the 3rd round, will this be his first major? The bookies seem to think so, as he's favourite for the title. Shame the games are played in the middle of the night, them Aussies should think of our TV scheduling and start the good matches at say 4am their time Anyways, come on Andy, bring home the bacon

Good. Now maybe everyone will calm down and there will be less pressure on him. I think his best chance to win a slam this year has gone though.
