Apparently we're interested in improving the over rate than actually going for the win

Yup according to the commentary on H&W, hence Batty and Mo bowling rather than Kab, Mase or Noffke. Oh well I guess 3 points will do us a lot of good!!

Have said most of what there is to say. Had it been the second game of the season then it would have been.encouraging. We still have teams on the ropes and then stand well back and let them recover rather than go for the jugular and we have a very fragile batting line up. In Rhodes defence some of the top order have shown signs of starting to fire and then been called up for a team they should not have been in. Keversee should get a longer run in the side and smith be asked to concentrate on his coaching role for a while and having been away in south west Wales I have not been able to listen to the commentary so do not know how much promise knappet showed to know how big a loss Davies will be next season. We knew that Jones was an important part of the bowling attack and with out him we have to choose the best of the first change bowlers, as that is how mason looks now, to open with him. The people who have been calling for Rhodes head will continue to but I am still to be convinced that his head is the answer. The change of staff that was called for gas happened and nothing has changed, the bowling attack lacks penetration and Rhodes is looking to something as quickly as he can and the batting line up is better on paper than has been performing and to be honest I suspect there is little to be done about it. With solankis new found success with the ball and the lack of anything from batty I would drop him play Darryl further down the order and open with keversee and replace smith with someone possibly knappet with Davies playing as a specialist batsmen, trying it can not lead to any worse outcomes can it?

At least Peter Trego did us a favour! Sounds like a fantastic knock by the man released by Worcs...
