| Apparently the pitch isn't doing anywhere near as much as yesterday. 126-8 _________________ BRING BACK SUNDAY CRICKET

| 8 down, 150 would be a miracle. Well done to Tulip though. |

| All in all a better performance than some though I would suggest that the season is to far gone now for steady improvement and a major turn around us all that will do. The day lady is not singing yet in this game but you get the feeling she is getting dressed! |

| I seem to have given up on the cricket-no interest in England A -or whatever they are called these days. The music scene has much more appeal! |

| The result of this match doesn't matter to me, it's more about getting new blood in. Very pleased to see Tulip getting a half decent score on what must be a dodgy track. All we need now is for Kabby & Co to hit their straps early doors - all the pressure is on Durham to convert a winning position against the bottom team. I hate to say it, but once again Batty has been invisible. We need the senior players to stand up at times like these. |

| Dodgy track - result wicket - no pitch inspection - they've got some ECB clout at the Riverside. As for Batty being invisible ? He's been lousy for years except in his own mind and that of the coach. A non wicket taking spinner and he bats at 7 - it's laughable. |

| Conditions should be helpful for Kabir and Mat this morning so we should see a few wickest fall if they can take advantage, but I would expect Durham to grind out a result. _________________ |

| Forecast Bad!! we might scrape a draw. Kervezee will be dropped for the next round of games!! Yes bring the 3 Lions back, but surely there is a space in our middle order. (smith!!) |

| I would do that warrior, just looking at stats prior to this match and Smith is averaging 28 from 10 championship innings., highest of 80. You know what ? It would be typical of Batty to storm back with a fifer this morning. |

| Good call warrior. Sorry to say it, as I am absolutely sure that Ben Smith gives his all for the Club, but there comes a time..... _________________

| If the frontline spinner continues to be ineffective, how about playing the extra batsman? Might give us a fighting chance of a first innings score! Overs from Moeen and Mitchell could fill in. |

Agree Adjuster. Smith gives his all, but just maybe he may be a bit long in the tooth now!! |
