Behold, Nordic band Royksopp's new song 'This Must Be It'

Well.. more like like This Must Be Something You'll Never Forget More baffling than why Surrey have signed Gareth Batty again, this video appears to star our own Mike Gilhooly and is that the Wilfs I spy??

At least it's good to know that they keep busy in the winter ..... and with a guest appearance by a Brian Blessed lookalike to boot.

No, not a reboot of 60s satire- but myself back from 9 days away and reading all the main posts- and realising what a lot happened when I was away.

Here's my quick take on last week:

Mitch as Vice-Captain Always going to be the case after Moore left: and hopefully would have been the case anyway. Well deserved and hard earned: he can be a future skipper of some skill and talent in the future: and , as we know, he is already well liked by the fans.

It was on TMS last Friday I believe.

I follow both on Twitter , and Aggers was furious with some Guardian journo who accused him of

being a sleazy perv, trying basically to get off with Lily.

Aggers was banging out all these tweets slagging this hack off, seemingly every half hour.

Being the modern man I am, I downloaded the podcast from Itunes to listen to on my Iphone.

We've discussed this before but can't find the thread. With a round of matches to go the tables once again show how pointless bonus points are.

Look at the "wins" column and league positions. Also, scoring football style with 3 for a win and 1 for a draw and there is hardly any difference to league positions. The only major 'stand-out' is Gloucs in Div 2 who have 5 wins but are mid-table due to lower bonus points. Is it right that a team that has played more positively to get ...

Bear skipper Ian Westwood gave a speech at a Warwickshire Cricket Board dinner last week. The wine must have been..ermm..good and his talk eventually turned into a routine about how women couldn't play cricket and how people [himself?] would only be interested if the women wore very short skirts

Bear Westwood forgot one small thing amongst the wine and the other beverages he had no doubt tried. It was the Girls' Awards - and ...

1) We won promotion, so we're only a handful of teams to be in the top division for both competitions.

2) The overseas player was sorted weeks ago. Do we hope for a longish injury to the guy so that we can resurrect the OS debate ?

After the success of the Ben Smith quiz it might become a regular event. Received this email from Dave Bradley which I hope he won't mind me posting in full. It's good fun so give it a bash.

First of all thanks for turning out for the first Big Quiz at New Raod a couple of weeks ago.

We now have a date for the Big Quiz 2, and hope you and your team mates will come along.

It's on WEDNESDAY 26TH AUGUST, again in the Graeme Hick Pavilion starting at 7-30.

Edgbaston tickets

You would have thought that those Bears would have made it easy to find out if there were test match tickets available.

I challenge anybody to find out from their website. There is one announcement dated 20 July and then nothing. The ticket link does not work.

What a shambles!

Plus you cant even take in cans of soft drink or cutlery.

Bored - so here is a startling bit of trivia.

I was reminded of this in the pavillion this week when I forked out £2.10 for three packet of Walkers crisps.

The average cost of a tonne of spuds is around £100 over a year. Big boys like Walkers grow under contract and probably get them for around £50-60/tonne. Add in cost of flavourings etc and you can reasonably expect them to pay about £100/tonne for the raw material.

Now : Based on Walkers crisps weighing 30gms, there would ...
